In partnership with Hackensack Meridian Health, our substance abuse and addiction treatment center—The Retreat at Ramapo Valley—sits on the 34 acre site of the historic Carmelite Retreat in Mahwah, NJ. The treatment philosophy is centered in a person-specific care model placing a high value on enhancing the patient’s own motivation for recovery, in the context of medical care, counseling and compassionate support necessary for long-term recovery.

We are currently in the fund development phase to expand The Retreat at Ramapo Valley to provide intensive inpatient services. The vision is to establish a Center of Excellence for adult addiction treatment and recovery through individualized innovative and transformative services for participants and their families. The program will be organized into a continuum of care which supports patients as they progress from detox & residential care to outpatient treatment.
